New Idea EGT-150

Postby mfrerking » Sun Jan 27, 2013 3:25 am

Thought I had better post this before Jeff gets around to posting his 150. It was an ebay purchase which had spent a lot of time outdoors. :( The tractor was in poor but salvageable condition. Wasn't sure I was up to the challenge, but jumped in determined.

The original deck was too far gone. Luckily, I had a spare deck that had only four years of known use.

I riveted the fenders on this one. No problems but prefer spot welds.

Used POR-15 on this deck. It filled in the pits and made for a slick tough surface.

Was happy with the end result. This tractor is now in use on an organic blueberry farm near St. Louis.

Enjoy.

Thank you gentlemen for the kind complements. If you liked this 150, just wait until Jeff Antonucci posts his restoration. Very nice!
