Picked this up today. Another project...just what I need

My plan is to replace the ICE with an electric motor. Electric models are available. But, the price was right. Have any of you converted one to electric?

Mark,
I think that's a good size. I have the same plan in mind for a small tiller to get in and out of rows. I want to use a scooter motor to run it and Li-Ion batteries from an electric drill as power.

I had the older model of that. Very simple unit. Mine had a 5hp motor and worked really well. If i am not mistaken those units are direct drive with the shaft connecting to a flywheel. If that is set up the same way you will have to make up and adapter. A snow thrower motor should have no issues running it.

Hmmmm.... Mark, you should have gotten a 1970's Sears and built one of these...

One of the prototypes that never made it to market...on my list to make one day, I better get me a 70's Sears Shredder/Bagger I guess!
