How To Post Pictures & Attachments

How To Post Pictures & Attachments

Postby roberttroll » Tue Jan 15, 2013 2:58 pm

Hello Everyone.

We have had a few questions as to posting pictures and attachments. Please be advised that the picture attachment size is limited to 256k max. Anything larger than that and we ask that you please use the gallery. (another post on using the gallery later)

In addition to pictures that are smaller then 256k, you can also post file attachments like PDF's. File attachments have a size limit of 1mb.

To upload a picture, or attachment to any post simply clock on "upload attachment" at the bottom of the window.

Click on "browse" to find the file, and then "add the file".

By default the picture will go to the bottom of your post. If you want to chance that click on "place inline".

This will cause a little bit of html code to be inserted into the very top of your post. Cut and past this code into your post where you would like your picture to go!

Happy posting!

I understand the need to limit the size of attachments. Could you increase the number of pictures allowed per post? I would like to post some of my past work (restorations) in that section. Guess I could just post the pictures in the Gallery. It wouldn't allow for the details and story.. :(

Also, and this is picky, I really like the bananas (thank you again), but could the large bouncing banana be smaller?

Thanks so much for your efforts.

I agree on the pictures more per post would be nice.
Also why do the pictures in the threads look bigger than the ones in the gallery?
Thanks

Amen to the bouncing banana!!! Here's a thought to make the site profitable - automatically charge a quarter for
each of the dang bananas loaded into a message, after the first one. One banana...free. Two or more bananas...
25 cents each. No bananas...priceless!!!
