Probably not with a 12", which I'm pretty sure he was pulling. We planted Rye in the students' garden in the fall, so I'll let you know in a few weeks if it will turn the garden with a 10" bottom. I'm not expecting any trouble, however.
Having a bit of Green Blood i will say that the 430 is a really amazing machine. They are quite large, and more along the lines of a compact utility. I had thought about converting one to electric as the front snout has lots of room...
amp draw is the same or less than when cutting grass with the mower on. I was plowing dry sandy soil, the tougher the conditions the more the draw would be. Also I was in 3rd gear, D1, if I use 2nd or L, the amp draw is less, always in the green, tractor moves a little slower but still fast enough to plow.
I've had the same experience with amperage draw as you Doug. I'd have to go back and look at my 'archives' but with my E20 I think I was also plowing in L or D1. I was using CC, so full armature, full field. That was for plowing winter rye under, with a 10" Brinly.
Nice videos Doug. Looks like you gave some others a chance to enjoy the Elec-Trak experience! Good deal!
Thanks Nick my EGT200 is original and I was using the CC. The E15 has the Alltrax with the Turbo or field weakening turned off and ran it full throttle. So both were at Full field voltage and Full armature voltage, max power and efficiency.
