looking for solutions for E-10M

Still in the tear down stage of my restoration project. First issue was the removal of the roll pin for the deck lift system. *!#%*!!! :x  Got that resolved. Next issue is the lower steering gear. It "had" a nut and bolt on it. the nut came off fine the bolt however did not. I managed to snap the bolt head right off. I tried to use vise grips on the thread on the opposite end of the bolt, no luck and now no more threads.... So option "A" sawzaw the lower steering shaft flush with the control arm.... Then try to remove the pieces of shaft the control arm. Would this leave enough steering shaft to put back in the control arm?
Option "B" buy a new lower steering shaft and control arm?.... Any ideas

Last problem, I took the from wheels off the tractor. The Left Front one had a set of bearings that have been destroyed. Anyone know where I can find replacement bearing for the front wheel? Thanks for the help everyone.

You can find standard replacement bearings for those pretty easy. I have purchased these a few times...
