Another Popped Puck

Another Popped Puck

Wish I could swap trannys as fast as the Tesla boys swap their battery set. Puck popped out again today. Totally different tranny, totally different brake. :x Can it really be coincidence?? The brake was adjusted on the bench, just enough drag on the rotor, and the pedal had good "pedal" and didn't bottom out in the footrest and bam - puck slips out while unloading tractor from trailer. Not sure if it's the inner or outer - tractor is in a booth at our county fair.

Ideas?

Steve, I seem to recall that there IS a difference between the two pucks. However, I don't know which is which. Also, make sure the parts that need to float can float (I think it's the caliper that needs to float in the "old style" brakes).

I'm sure either Harold or Jim could give you a quick answer.
